Massage therapy
Massage therapy booking software for therapists and studios
A massage appointment is a block of time with one therapist. OperMae lets you publish each session length, keep each therapist's hours, and let a client book only a time that is open.
Session length is the schedule
A 60-minute session and a 90-minute session cannot share the same slot size. If the book ignores that, the next client arrives while the table is still in use.
OperMae holds the therapist for the duration of the service the client chose, including any add-on minutes you have attached to that service.
What a massage practice can publish
Sessions with their own length and price
List a 60-minute session, a 90-minute session, or any other service you offer. Each one has the duration and price you enter.
Therapist availability
Each therapist has weekly hours, time off, and the services they perform. A client chooses a therapist or the first available person who offers that session.
A deposit or pay at the visit
You can require a deposit on a session and leave another as pay at the visit. Payments go to your Stripe account.
Questions you write yourself
Add booking questions if you want a preference or a note before the session. The answer is stored with the appointment. OperMae is not a medical chart and does not provide a clinical plan.
How a session gets booked
The client chooses a session
They see the length and price, such as 60 or 90 minutes, as you published them.
They choose a therapist who is working
Time off and weekly hours remove times that therapist cannot take.
They share the details you asked for
Your questions, if you added any, are part of the booking. They are not a health record.
Both sides have the time
The session is on your calendar. The client receives an email confirmation and a reminder based on your settings.
Massage studio examples
A solo therapist
Your hours are the book. Clients can reserve a session while you are in the treatment room, instead of calling back later.
Two therapists, different days
Each person keeps their own hours and services. The booking page only offers the overlap of service, person, and open time.
A longer session that should be protected
Use a deposit on that service and a cancellation window so clients see the rule before they confirm. You decide how close to the session they may cancel or reschedule online.
What stays organized
- The calendar shows who is booked, for which session, and for how long.
- Client profiles keep contact details, past sessions, and your private notes.
- A full schedule can take waitlist requests and send a link when a matching time opens.
- Reports summarize bookings and payments for a period you choose, and you can export them.
Questions
Can I offer more than one session length?
Yes. Each service has its own duration and price. An add-on can add extra minutes and price onto that same appointment.
Is this a medical or insurance record?
No. OperMae stores the appointment, the client's contact details, your booking questions, and your private notes. It is not clinical software, and it does not store a medical record.
Can clients book a specific therapist?
Yes. They can choose a therapist who offers that session, or the first available therapist.
