Locations

Booking software for more than one location

When a business publishes more than one location, the client chooses where the appointment happens, then books a service that location offers. OperMae does not give each address its own weekly clock, and it is not franchise-management software.

Two addresses are not one generic “our place”

A client who books the downtown studio should not arrive at the other address. If the page hides the location, the confirmation is the first time they find out.

OperMae asks the client to choose a public location when you have published more than one. The appointment is saved against that location.

What multiple locations include

  • A location the client can choose

Each location has its own name, address, public phone, public email, and arrival note. You choose which locations appear on the booking page. Hiding a location does not change what you pay.

  • Services and people limited to a location

A service or a provider can be limited to the locations where they work. A client at one address does not see a service or a person assigned only to the other.

  • Hours follow the person

Weekly hours and time off are set for the business and for each provider. OperMae does not keep a separate set of opening hours for each address. If two locations need different clocks, set the hours on the people who work at each one.

  • One included location, then a paid add-on

Every plan includes one location. Each additional location is $20/month. The price is the same add-on shown on the pricing page.

How a client books a location

  1. They choose the location

They see the public locations you published, with the address and arrival note you entered.

  2. They choose a service offered there

Services limited to another location stay off this choice.

  3. They choose a person who works there

When only one person offers that service at that location, the client continues to a time with that person.

  4. The appointment names the location

The calendar and the confirmation keep the location the client chose.

Location examples

  • Two studios, one booking page

Publish both. A client picks one before they pick a time. You are not running two separate products.

  • A provider who works at one address

Limit that person to the location where they work. Their hours still decide which times appear.

  • A visit that comes to the client

A location can be marked as traveling to customers, or as online. That is a label and a public note. OperMae does not dispatch a route or estimate a job.

Limits to keep in mind

  • Clients choose a location, then a service and a time that location can offer.
  • OperMae does not manage franchises, booth rentals, or a marketplace of independent businesses.
  • It does not keep a separate weekly schedule for each street address.
  • Pro includes up to 2 people in the workspace. Team includes up to 6, and additional people are a paid add-on. Current prices are on the pricing page.

Questions

Does every plan include more than one location?

No. Every plan includes one location. Each additional location is $20/month.

Can each address have its own opening hours?

Not as a separate location clock. Set hours on the providers who work at that address. Those hours decide what clients can book with them.

Can I hide a location without deleting it?

Yes. A location can be kept off the public page. That does not change the location add-on on its own.
