Tattoo & piercing

Tattoo and piercing booking software for consultations and sessions

A consultation and a tattoo session are different appointments, and a piercing is a different length again. OperMae books those visits against the artist’s real hours. It does not keep a clinical record or a stock list of jewelry.

The shop book is not a single “tattoo slot”

A consult, a short piercing, and a long session cannot share one assumption about the artist’s afternoon. If they do, the next client is promised a time that is already gone.

OperMae publishes each service with the duration and price you set, then shows times that artist is actually free.

What a studio can configure

  • Consultations, sessions, and piercings

Add a consult, a tattoo session, and a piercing as separate services. Each has its own length and price. An add-on can add minutes and price to that same visit. OperMae does not draw the design or price it for you.

  • Artists with their own hours

Assign the services each artist performs and set their weekly hours and time off. A client who wants a specific artist only sees that person’s open times for that service.

  • A deposit on the session

A deposit is a dollar amount on that service, charged at booking through your Stripe account, with the rest due at the visit. Leave a short consult as pay-at-visit if you prefer.

  • A form you write, on Pro and Team

You can attach a waiver or intake form you wrote so the client completes it while booking. OperMae stores the answers with the appointment. It does not turn them into a clinical record.

How a studio appointment is booked

  1. The client chooses consult, session, or piercing

They see the length and price you published for that service.

  2. They choose an artist who offers it

Someone who does not perform that service does not appear for it.

  3. They complete what you attached

That can be your booking questions, and a form or waiver tied to the service when Forms and waivers is active. It is $10/month on Pro and included on Team.

  4. The time is on the artist’s calendar

The client receives an email confirmation, and a reminder based on your settings.

Studio examples

  • Consult first, session later

Publish them as two services. Booking the consult does not automatically reserve a later session. The client books the session when you both have a time.

  • Piercing on the same page

A piercing is another service with its own duration. The page does not need a second product, and it does not track jewelry you sell.

  • A cancelled session

On Pro and Team, a client who cannot find a time can join the waitlist. Joining does not hold the time. If a matching appointment is cancelled, OperMae can email a claim link, and the first person to claim it gets the visit.

What this is not

  • Clients book scheduled consultations, sessions, and piercings. The calendar shows who is booked and for how long.
  • OperMae does not store a clinical record, and it does not bill insurance.
  • It does not track products you sell or calculate staff pay.
  • Reports can summarize bookings and payments for a period you choose.

Questions

Can each artist take different appointments?

Yes. Assign the services that person performs, and give them their own hours and time off.

Does a consultation hold the tattoo session?

No. They are separate bookings unless you create both appointments.

Can clients sign a waiver while booking?

Yes, when Forms and waivers is active. It is a $10/month add-on on Pro and included on Team. You are the author of that form.
