Spa appointment software for facials, massage, and body treatments

A spa day is a set of appointments: a facial, a massage, a body treatment, each with its own length and provider. OperMae is booking software for those visits. It is not software for a medical practice.

Spa services collide when they share one generic slot

A 30-minute brow appointment and a 90-minute massage cannot share the same assumption about the room or the provider. If the book treats them as identical, the afternoon overruns and the next guest waits.

OperMae uses the duration on the service, the provider’s hours, and any add-on minutes to decide how long that appointment lasts. The client books a time that provider can keep.

What a non-medical spa can publish

  • A menu of appointment services

Publish a facial, a massage, and a body treatment as separate services, each with its own duration and price. An add-on can add time and price to that same visit, such as a scalp treatment with a massage.

  • Providers with their own schedules

A massage therapist and an esthetician can offer different services and keep different hours and time off. A client picks a person, or the first available provider who performs that service.

  • Forms you write

You can attach an intake form or a waiver to a service so the client completes it while booking. Forms and waivers are $10/month on Pro and included on Team. You are the author of that form. It is not a clinical chart, and OperMae does not store a medical record.

  • Deposits, reminders, and gift cards

A deposit is optional and is a dollar amount on that service, charged at booking through Stripe, with the remainder due at the visit. Email confirmation and reminders follow your notification settings. Text reminders require the client to opt in. Gift cards are included on Pro and Team.

How a spa appointment is booked

  1. The guest chooses the service

They see the length and price of the facial, massage, or body treatment you published.

  2. They choose who can do it

Only providers who offer that service, and only during their open hours.

  3. They complete what you attached

That can be your booking questions, and on Pro or Team a form or waiver tied to the service.

  4. Both sides have the time

The visit is on the calendar. The guest receives an email confirmation, and a reminder based on your settings. Your cancellation note is part of that confirmation.

Spa examples

  • A facial and a massage on the same afternoon

Book them as two services with two durations. If they are with two people, each person’s hours decide the times. OperMae does not schedule a room separately from the provider.

  • A first visit that needs a form

Attach the form you wrote to that service. The guest fills it in while booking, on Pro or Team. The answers stay with the appointment. OperMae does not turn them into a diagnosis.

  • A treatment you would rather not lose

Use a deposit on that service and show the cancellation window before they confirm. If the time later opens, a waitlist can email a claim link. The first person to claim it gets the appointment.

What this page is, and what it is not

  • Clients book scheduled spa services. The calendar shows who is booked, for which service, and for how long.
  • Client profiles keep contact details, past appointments, and notes you write for yourself.
  • Reports summarize bookings and payments for a period you choose.
  • OperMae does not provide clinical documentation, prescriptions, or insurance billing. It is not healthcare software.
