Fresha sells booking software and a marketplace. New clients who find you on that marketplace can carry a one-time commission. OperMae does not run a client marketplace. Clients book the page you publish, and card payments go to your Stripe account.

Fresha's pricing page lists Independent at $19.95 per month for one team member, and Team at $14.95 per bookable team member per month.
A marketplace commission
New clients who discover the business on the Fresha marketplace are charged a one-time 20% commission, with a $6 minimum. Returning clients are not charged that fee. Bookings from the business's own website, Instagram, or Facebook are not charged it.
Optional Fresha payments
Fresha says payments are optional. If you use them, the pricing page lists online payments at 2.79% plus $0.20, and in-person payments at 2.29% plus $0.20, plus $0.10 per Tap to Pay authorization.

The model is the decision
Fresha can bring marketplace clients, and charges for the first visit
That fee applies when a brand-new client discovers the business on the Fresha marketplace and completes a first appointment. OperMae has no equivalent marketplace and no new-client commission.
Team pricing is calculated differently
Fresha Team is $14.95 per bookable team member each month. OperMae Team is $59 per month for 6 users, then $10 per month for each extra user. A two-person OperMae business can stay on Pro at $29 per month.
Fresha includes a point of sale and product tools
The pricing page lists point of sale, inventory, and an online product store. OperMae does not offer those. OperMae does include prepaid visit packages and customer memberships. Choose Fresha when retail or group bookings are part of the weekly work.

Before you switch
Estimate how many brand-new clients would come from the marketplace. Fresha charges 20% of the first completed appointment, with a $6 minimum, for each of those clients.
Count bookable people. Fresha Team multiplies $14.95 by that count. OperMae Pro covers up to 2 users, and Team covers 6 before extra-user fees.
If you sell products, Fresha lists that. OperMae does not. OperMae does sell prepaid visit packages and customer memberships.

Questions
Does OperMae charge when a new client books?
No. OperMae does not run a client marketplace and does not add a new-client commission. Fresha charges a one-time marketplace fee only when the client discovers the business on the Fresha marketplace.
Can I use OperMae without a marketplace listing?
Yes. That is the product. You share your booking page, and clients book the services and times you published.
